Identification of the financial statements

49
An entity shall clearly identify the financial [one] statements and distinguish them from other information in the same [two] published document.

50
IFRSs apply only to financial statements, [three] and not necessarily to other information presented in an annual [four] report, a regulatory filing, or another document. Therefore, [five] it is important that users can [six] distinguish information that is prepared using [seven] IFRSs from other information that may be [eight] useful to users but is not the subject of those [nine] requirements.

51
An entity shall clearly identify each [ten] financial statement and the notes. In addition, an entity shall [one] display the following information prominently, and repeat it [two] when necessary for the information presented to be understandable: [three] (a) the name of the reporting entity or other means [four] of identification, and any change in that information from the end [five] of the preceding reporting period;
(b) whether the financial statements [six] are of an individual entity or a group of entities;
(c) the date [seven] of the end of the reporting period or the period covered by the set [eight] of financial statements or notes;
(d) the presentation currency, as defined [nine] in IAS 21; and
(e) the level of rounding used [ten] in presenting amounts in the financial statements.

52
An entity meets [one] the requirements in paragraph 51 by presenting appropriate headings [two] for pages, statements, notes, columns and the like. Judgement [three] is required in determining the best way of presenting [four] such information. For example, when an entity presents [five] the financial statements electronically, separate pages are [six] not always used; an entity then presents [seven] the above items to ensure that the information included [eight] in the financial statements can be understood.

53
An entity [nine] often makes financial statements more understandable [ten] by presenting information in thousands or millions of units of the presentation [one] currency. This is acceptable as long as the entity [two] discloses the level of rounding and does not omit [three] material information.

Feature conception:

Thus it appears, in what various ways Nature has taught man her first great lesson of love and union.

Nor did she give the same talents either in kind or in degree to all, evidently meaning that the inequality of her gifts should be ultimately equalized by a reciprocal interchange of good offices and mutual assistance.

Thus, in different countries, she has caused different commodities to be produced, that expediency itself might introduce commercial intercourse.
