ARTICLE 128.   Leave without pay

Under family circumstances or for other good reasons [one] the employee may be given, on the written request, [two] a leave without pay, the duration of which is [three] determined under the agreement between the employee and the employer. [four]

The employer on the basis of the employee's written application [five] must grant a leave without pay to:

• [six] participants of the Great Patriotic War - up to 35 [seven] calendar days during a year;

• working [eight] pensioners receiving old-age pension - up to 14 [nine] calendar days during a year;

• parents [ten] and wives (husbands) of military personnel, killed or dead [one] owing to wounding, contusion or mutilation got while [two] acting as military, or owing to a disease concerned with [three] doing military service - up to 14 calendar [four] days during a year;

• working disabled [five] people - up to 60 calendar days during [six] a year;

• employees in cases of a child birth, [seven] wedding registration, death of close relatives - up [eight] to five calendar days;

• in other cases [nine] provided for by the present Code, other federal laws [ten] or the collective agreement.
