ARTICLE 401.   Conciliatory procedures

The procedure of settlement of a collective industrial dispute includes [one] the following steps: consideration of collective industrial dispute [two] through the Commission for Conciliation, consideration of collective industrial [three] dispute through mediation and/or at the Industrial Arbitration.

Consideration [four] of collective industrial dispute through the Commission for Conciliation [five] is a mandatory step. In case of failure to settle [six] the collective industrial dispute through the Commission for Conciliation [seven] the parties shall refer to mediator and/or at the Industrial [eight] Arbitration.

Each party to a collective industrial dispute may [nine] refer at all times after the beginning of such [ten] dispute to the Service for Settlement of Collective Industrial Dispute [one] for notifying registration of the dispute.

Neither party shall [two] evade participation in conciliatory procedures.

The parties` agents, [three] the Commission for Conciliation, mediator, the Industrial Arbitration, the aforesaid [four] Service shall use every possibility provided [five] by laws in order to settle the arisen collective industrial [six] dispute.

Conciliation procedures are to be held within [seven] the times stipulated by this Code.

If necessary, the times, [eight] provided for the conduct of conciliation procedures, may be [nine] prolonged upon agreement of the parties to collective industrial [ten] dispute.
